Good Morning!
This is what is happening here at

Taller del Maestro Global Outreach
in Tabarcia, Costa Rica!
We were able to be a part of fixing the road

in front of our
Church Arbol de Vida!

This is the crew behind the church at the apartment you helped build with Taller del Maestro Global Outreach, whether in your gifts given in order that we can minister to the people here in Costa Rica! The river came out of it's banks a few days ago, so they are building a retaining wall between the river and the apartment!

Praise the LORD it didn't do a lot of damage.
Pastor Olger was right there working at church so he and Franklin and other men worked hard to keep the water out!

This is the crew and yes the cows working on the road in front of our Church Arbol de Vida!
If you have been here you know, these cows walk by the church every day!
Thank you for being a part of what's happening here at
Taller del Maestro Global Outreach!
Yes even a backhoe was brought in to help get the road in front of the church in better shape! Rainy season does a number on roads around here! We have one more month of rainy season then dry season is here again! Praise the LORD!

Thank you ms. Helen and the church in Washington for being involved in the work here! If you would like to give to the ministry of Taller del Maestro you can, 100% of your tax-deductible gift will go directly to the ministry of Franklin and Evelyn Turner, Taller del Maestro Global Outreach, make your gift to

Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 Tupelo MS. 38802 in our name!
Thank you! Blessings on your day as you serve JESUS wherever you are today!

Fun in the sun!

James and Mary playing, this was 3 years ago in Belize!
We thank each of you for your prayers for us in this process GOD has brought through to get us where we are today!

Today was a day of blessings here in Costa Rica. James and Mary both had class this morning from 7-11:30. Now James teacher called us at 9:30 and says he won't have music today so he gets out at 10! We were in Puriscal so I told her to have him wait for us! His little buddies had brought a ball so he was ok!

Mary did have class until 11:30 so we picked her up later. Franklin went to help at the church. Last night we got a phone call from our preacher and said, " there is water getting in the apartment, and the back of the church!" So we ran down there fast to help him! Another few men had shown up by then and were trying to divert the water away from the apartment. The river had come up because of all the rain. Anyways today they went back down there to try and get rocks piled a little higher so it wouldn't come out today! MUDDY mess!
They hope to build a retaining wall the last of this week.

We are in a week of prayer for the property GOD has for the camp Taller del Maestro Global Outreach please join us as we seek GOD'S face on this matter.
Thank you for your prayers and support of this ministry!

Drawing!

This has been a busy day around our house here in Tabarcia today! Franklin is finishing up the stack of wood to dry and hopes to have the greenhouse ready to put over it in the morning while it is dry! The weather has been pretty predictible the last while sun and hot in the mornings for about 3 hours, then it clouds up and starts to rain, cool evenings and rainy nights! James and Mary were both in school this morning now are home and playing with friends! We are thankful they can be a part of the community here in our neighborhood and have learned Spanish well and communicate with their friends! James and I baked a batch of Chocolate Chip cookies, thanks Connie for the Chocolate Chips! Yummy!

They tell me that it used to rain all day for days at a time, we are closer to the coming of OUR LORD JESUS because in the bible it says the times will change and this is the birth pains of the end of time! And the weather patterns have definitely changed from what they were 20 years ago!

I am attaching a picture of Franklin and Mary they are working on drawing out our house plans!

We are believing GOD for this camp center soon! God is so good, our pastor Olger called this morning and said, "We need to put this camp center under a prayer vigil for one week, breaking the chains the devil wants to put on it. We will PRAY and GO for what GOD is wanting to do!" So pray with us! This is the vision God has given us for the work here in Tabarcia, to purchase land, to build and maintain a camp center ministering to the whole family of the Costa Rican people in the name of Jesus to the Glory of GOD the FATHER! Col3:17!

May you be encouraged as you serve Jesus wherever you are today!

Blessings in JESUS, Evelyn

Day Play

This was a fun day James 3rd grade class spent at a farm close by. The farm is owned by one of the children's dad so they invited the whole group of 30 kids to go play and enjoy the animals and Gods beautiful creation!!

They played different game and jumped rope. They even tried out whirling the rope trying to wrangle/rope up each other!
Then at the end of their fun time they enjoyed cake and a drink! This was a great time for these little ones, Praise the Lord! Gloria a DIOS!

At our worship services sometimes our pastor tells us to repeat what he is saying, GLORIA A DIOS, GLORIA A DIOS, GLORIA A DIOS!!!!! Glory be to God!
So many times we take for granted the things God has given us and we need to be thankful each moment for the breath of life we enjoy without trying, the sun, the moon, the stars, the flowers, so many things we have because GOD created them! They aren't here by accident or a big bang they are here created by a Divine Hand!
Franklin is working on stacking more wood our stack is about 4X6ft and now around 4ft tall! We didn't know it would be that much but GOD has multiplied it! GLORIA A DIOS! This is wood that we will use in our construction of the new camp center! Thank you for your prayers for this process as we draw closer to purchase of the camp center property, and the start of construction! Get involved pray, give, or GO!!!
Blessings on your day,
Love in Jesus, Evelyn

Dios lo bendiga! God bless you! This is a very usual greeting here in Costa Rica!

September 2007 wow how times fly! We are thankful for our health and the many blessings God has given us! We celebrated childrens day with our church Sept. 9. The Sunday School teachers made an ark of boxes and we re-enacted one of the greatest miracles of the bible, the floating zoo! The ark is a shadow of real salvation that could only come through faith in JESUS CHRIST!

We have enjoyed 3 years here in Tabarcia now, seems like yesterday we got here! We first came to a town 30 minutes from here named Ciudad Colon. We stayed there in town while Franklin finished language studies! James enrolled in kindergarten and we continued to home school Mary.

We moved here to Costa Rica in 2004. We came here driving our Toyota pick-up! This was quite an adventure if you have never traveled in Central America it is worth it! The scenery is gorgeous, and the people are friendly. They helped us as the roads are not marked and many times the only way to find our way through small towns and places along the way was to follow the main road, sometimes it was hard to tell!

We started looking for a church to serve in meanwhile Franklin studied Spanish. We found Arbol De Vida, and are thankful for the great blessing this little church has been to our lives! We have enjoyed the relationship with Ogler and Guiselle the pastors leaders here at Arbol DE Vida right now. They have been pastors of this church for 6 years now.

They have helped us a great deal not only learning the ropes of ministry to Hispanic people but finding our way around and working together with us to the Glory of our Saviour JESUS CHRIST!

We are very thankful for the opportunity to serve JESUS here in Costa Rica and look forward to new ways to minister in the name of JESUS!

We feel called to host a camp and training center similar to camp centers in the states. It is a place where Children and Youth can come to learn more about Jesus! A place for couples to get away from the busy lives and take time to renew time together! Pastors are ministered to as they find time at Taller Del Maestro Global Outreach to rest and renew their strength in Jesus! Women come to know a Saviour who loves her for who she is!

  • Pray for us as we work through the process of purchase of property for the camp center.

  • Pray that we will always put Jesus first!

  • Pray for Mary and James as they got to public school here in Tabarcia for safety and a Jesus like attitude showing HIS love to a dark and dying world!
