a-Camping I will go!

Rachel came to visit at the camp and helped do some painting! Thanks Rach!

Mary and Melody painted a nemo theme on our bathroom wall God has given us each a talent and to HIS glory they are being used right here at Camp Taller del Maestro!

Olger our pastor got a push off on the swing!

Melody is with us for one more day and she was able to be a part of this group that came out to the camp from our church to have our regular meeting of the board of directors of Arbol de Vida Church. They brought a snack to share with coffee and brought their families so we had a wonderful time! Before the meeting they had time to walk around and see the camp for themselves!

We are thankful to be able to minister even tho the camp isn't really functioning yet, we've only got walls on 2 sides of the building we are living in and working out of. We are in need of teams to help finish this phase of the camp center in order to move forward with the building of the cabin, then the construction of the pavilion where many will hear about JESUS for the very first time and give their lives to HIM! Please pray about being involved, praying for our safety and strength, giving to make GODS dream of a camp in Costa Rica a possibility, and coming to serve hands on building a place of rest and renewal!

It is a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful family of GOD. Thank you for praying, giving, and going in order that together we can minister here in Costa Rica in the Name of JESUS!

James:Photographer?

James got a hold of the camera while Franklin was working on driveways this past week so this is what he saw through the lens! He is pretty good, but James has been known to delete all the fotos! NO! I was going to blog those! So if you haven't seen new pictures on our blog you can imagine what happened! (smile!)
James and Mary are in school today. I came to Tabarcia to see about our internet (we have been off line!) and pack up my kitchen!
We have been slowly but surely packing and moving the apartment is looking a little leaner these days! We hope to be fully moved in a few weeks, LORd willing! It is a a slow process being so far away, it takes 40 minutes to drive here to the church apartment where we've lived for 4 years, from the camp where we live now! so moving our stuff has been a strain!

Thank you for praying for us, those little words between you and GOD for us are powerful as a stick of DYNAMITE! keep it up! GOD has protected us as you have asked and has been prospering our work as we labor to see this camp center built, to host groups of people for restoration of their intimacy to our great GOD through salvation in JESUS CHRIST!

JESUS BLESS YOU!

What does Franklin do?

Well this is some of what Franklin did all in one day! We were working on the septic system, but it rained so while we waited for the ground to dry out Franklin put the last of the tin on the tip top of the roof! Now it stays dry inside!

Then Franklin was on bat control! We have trouble with the bats flying in our room at night so Franklin and I put some screens on the little windows! The wood we used for these windows was cut in Kentucky when Franklin was 15! How is that for GOD HE knew all along we would use it here in Costa Rica to build a camp center! These are the scraps after Franklin made a bunk bed out of the bigger pieces!

On to the septic system! We are glad to have a real bathroom, no more late night runs to the outhouse!
Thank you for praying for us and giving to make it possible to build this camp center a place of rest and renewal!
