Activities on a weekend in Costa Rica!

Mary was able to be a part in her friend Carolinas wedding!

We all had a busy weekend going to 2 church services, taking engineers to see about working on the Taller del Maestro Global Outreach camp center road, 2 childrens CHRISTmas parties, wedding and a broken down truck! Our truck broke down Sunday evening, please PRAY for this as we try to figure out what happened to it and in all we do serve JESUS in Costa Rica.

ROCKS!

This is James at the rock quarry,
as we got out of the car a big slide of rocks came crashing down! This back hoe has left the rock quarry pray with us that GOD will provide another one so we can get some rock for our road, to bring supplies in, to build HIS camp center, to be used to encourage Christians, and bring the lost to salvation in JESUS CHRIST!

JESUS BLESS YOU!

Auto repair and coffins??

It may sound a little morbid, but this is the story for the day! James and I went to have the mechanic work on the car. We got to the shop and he took it to have the electrician work on the wiring. We had to wait at the mechanics shop till they finished so we sat there in the office waiting. Of course you can imagine James was not patient and started walking around the shop looking for something to do. The mechanics son came in and was taking a motor apart, and James helped a little! Then he started talking to some people who were working in a little room at the back. They make coffins, imagine the mixture, a mechanics shop and a coffin shop all in one! So they let him pound in the nails and help sand the coffins! What an experience!
God prepared the way and James spent 3 hours helping out pounding in nails and sanding the coffins, he really did well! And yes we did get the car fixed we even took it to the muffler shop and they got the muffler fixed too, took all day but PRAISE THE LORD it is better and James wasn't bored, he got to HELP!
Thank you for your prayers for us! PRAY for our safety as we work on the entrance to our property and camp center! GOD IS GOOD! more news coming!
JESUS BLESS YOU!

SPEAK JESUS!

God morning with blessings sent your way in the name of JESUS! Our pastor in Belize Mr Calvin always said GOOD MORNING whether it was 7 am or 7pm or midnight! We have learned a lot from our pastors GOD has given us along the way in our ministry!
PRAY for your pastor today just take one minute right now and pray for him or her and remember that GOD put them in our lives! No one comes to a position without GODS knowing it and providing that person for that exact point in time!

Also appreciate your prayers for us as we minister here in COSTA RICA, GOD has called us to build a camp center for HIS honor and Glory and to encourage His people. Encourageing them not only here and now but encouraging them to step out and serve HIM no matter what.
The pictures above were taken as we were working on the road leading to the farm where the camp center is being raised up!
This is a thought someone here wrote a song in spanish on: If you want to see things happen you've never seen before you have to do something you've never done before!

More than ever GODS people should PRAY and then step out and do something new today it may change the world!
Imagine for one moment the person who spoke to Billy Graham about JESUS!!! That persons name has never been mentioned but many many people have come to JESUS because of that one word,JESUS through Mr. Graham! SPEAK JESUS to someone today!
JESUS BLESS YOU!

I passed! Praise the LORD!

Mary and James have completed their 4th year in public school here in Costa Rica! We are very proud of how GOD has been working in their lives! They aren't perfect kids (but close!) but they have jumped some major obstacles to be able to live in the public as they have here in Costa Rica.
We appreciate your prayers for our children and us as we live out GODS call upon our lives to know JESUS and make Him known to others!
JESUS BLESS YOU!

Gone to the farm

Franklin has gone out to the farm, he got a call from the guy who is coming to measure and tell us how much it will be to get electric out there! PRAY with us as we start getting going! We are painting the trusses we brought down and getting them ready to go as soon as the rain stops!
It didn't rain today, so we are thankful for that! It has been dryer this week than last week so GOD has been good!

It is here in Costa Rica!

We went to the farm Saturday morning and were met with a mudslide before getting there. Praise the Lord as we got there we got the call that the back hoe was out of customs and 3 hours later was here in Tabarcia!

Thank you for praying we have now recieved our backhoe here in Costa Rica! They delivered it Saturday here to Tabarcia! We hope to paint the trusses and do some work on the back hoe while we wait for the weather to clear off!

It has rained nearly every day, today thankfully it rained only in the afternoon. Was a nice sunny morning for church! There were only 34 children in Sunday School today, many of them walk 1-2 miles to Sunday School so because of the muddy roads the numbers were down. Please continue to pray for the mission here in Costa Rica as we listen to the voice of GOD as HE directs our path! Follow JESUS He gave His all how can we give less!

trees bees and such!

These pictures were taken at the farm yesterday. The men who were working captured these little bees, they are minatures, barely 1/8 inch across! They are well known across the world for their honey, it is used in beauty treatments and shampoos, and for healing!
Thank you LORD for such a wonderful creation! Franklin and I would have overlooked them but these guys have an eye for beauty don't you think!?

Coffee Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each day as we go to work at the new property for the Camp Taller Del Maestro we pray on our way in! We need your prayers as we work and create this wonderful place of restoration & relaxation!
After we work about 3 hours we have a coffee time! We take little plastic dishes with rice beans and meat and fried plantains, coffee and cookies. This is the schedule most farm workers keep and we try to do it their way as much as possible to help make them feel AT HOME! Pray that we would be a good example to each one and that JESUS would shine in our lives!

We have had several people who have been working with us at the farm, Camp Taller del Maestro. Franklins arm is a little sore and after working each day they still have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the truck!
We are so thankful and are excited about having the opportunity to begin in this new step in our lives in ministry!
Thank you for praying sharing our burdens and joy! May GOD richly bless you today as you seek to serve JESUS each day.
If you would like to come personally to work along side of us. You can talk with the teams co-ordinator at Global Outreach 662-842-4615 and they can set up dates for you, and help get you started. You can also call us here in Costa Rica at 011-506-2418-5511.
GOD bless you today!
