Forward Camp center!

This has been a great week here in Costa Rica at the camp! GOD has blessed us with health and safety thank you for praying for us! This square Franklin Miguel and james are working in is our future kitchen! In GODS eyes this camp center is up and running, but we are human and see slow progress! It takes a lot of faith to do GODS work, but it is the best business to be in!

james got to use tools this week! First of all he was able to use a small side grinder they have to sand the walls getting them ready to be plastered. Then he helped cook and was using sharp knives, plase keep praying for James' safety!

James how is the view down there!? This is what our kitchen looked like as I was on the second floor looking down!

I am going to need a kitchen what do you think? This where we cook right now in the meantime is right in the middle of everything and gets just a little dusty and grimy! I am thankful but look forward to having an actual kitchen soon!

What have you been doing?

James and Miguel got in the basket Franklin put on the backhoe, and he lifted them up to the roof to put a flourescent light up! Now we can see what we are eating, what?!! it was rice and beans all along!!! These lights are all run on generators GOD provided, thank-you to those of you who are a part of this great blessing!

We have been busy lately and I realized I had not taken pictures for more than 2 weeks! So here are few shots this week!
Franklin and Miguel were putting up the last of the tin for the outer walls we now have 4 walls as of this morning!!
They cut the shape for the kitchen roof, it will go on next LORD willing! We are looking forward to having a real kitchen! In the first picture you see what we call our kitchen for the time being!

Today the electric company came out to measure for putting in electricity! BUT<<< it was raining all day! And they couldn't get their equipment wet! So they will be back to measure! At least we got to talk with them and show them how we want it, and now they will soon be able to give us an estimate, LORD willing! Pray that it would be soon!!

Gods mercies are new each day!

This morning we had a beautiful sunrise but just as quickly the sun hid behind the clouds! It has been cool and cloudy all day.
We left the camp center to come to church at 8. It takes about 45 minutes to drive here to church. We had a wonderful service, those of you who have come to visit know how wonderful the music and people are! GOD has blessed us with a wonderful church family!
We have a meeting with the directors of the church this afternoon then we plan to go see Rebeca and Nago. We are so thankful for their conversion it is exciting to see the life of someone completely changed!
They now come to church together and sit up front to recieve the WORD OF GOD! We have seen growth in their life spiritually and it is great! PRAISE THE LORD!
It has been raining every day it is a blessing as parts of Costa Rica and Central America that haven't recieved this rain and the crops are drying up!
Thank you again for your prayers and support, keep praying for us we have been very blessed with good health and able to do the work GOD has called us to here in Costa Rica building the camp center in the Name of JESUS for the Glory of GOD!
If you would like to give you can go on line at www.globaloutreach.org or send your check directly to Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 Tupleo MS. 38802 made out to Global Outreach for Franklin Turner. Thank-you!

SON-day!

GOD bless each of you who follow our blog! We appreciate your prayers and support for this work GOD called us to here in Costa Rica!We have founded a Camp and Training center in Puriscal, Costa Rica. When we bought the property for the camp center it had been deserted 20 years before!

So it was overgrown with plants, large trees and lots of vines! So much so that when we went to look at it we could not walk in! We bought this property sight unseen. We were blinded just a little bit, as we started out by faith, cutting the bush with machetes and dreaming of what GOD was going to do on this beautiful place. Sometimes as we worked we would start to look at the property through natural eyes and it was disheartening to tell you the truth. GOD helped us to see a little at a time through HIS EYES, or we would have given up before starting! We have stuck with it, living out this call GOD has put on our lives!

We enjoy living at the camp property even though it is still without electricity and we are living in the midst of the construction! We know GOD has called us to raise up this place for HIS people to come rest, and find GODS presence! So we are moving forward, doing our best to make each moment count as well as stretching the funds as much as possible! Thank you for giving to GODS work possible here in Costa Rica!

If you haven't given and would like to be a part of what is happening here at Taller del Maestro you can give on-line at www.globaloutreach.org or you can send your check made out to Global Outreach for Franklin Turner to Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 Tupelo MS 38802.
You can also be involved hands on by coming to spend a week or 2 with us at the camp center, helping out with the work, building, welding, pumping water from our natural spring, pouring concrete, swinging a machete or spraying weeds! There are lots of ways to help hands on, we would love to have you! You can call Carla at Global Outreach at 662-842-4615 for an orientation booklet and she will help you get started!
Thank you again for being a part of us as you PRAY, GIVE and come to help personally!

JESUS BLESS YOU!
