Through the lens

What did you see today? have you ever thought about how wonderful it is to be able to see! I can't even imagine not having my eyes, not being able to take in the beauty of the sunrise, or James and marys smile, or a small wren who made her nest in a box of stored stuff on our shelves! What a blessing to be able to take a minute and watch the rushing water n the river next to the church! WOW! What power, what a great GOD we serve! Thank you LORD JESUS!

Today I was talking to a new friend Lenny. She is James' friend Ronnys mom. They live within a few blocks of James school so they invited him to come play today. I went to pick James up amd we sat and ate noodles she had cooked and talked for about an hour. She is a Christian and wants to know JESUS more! She was surprisd when I told her we were missionaries here. She was excited about the camp center and the possibilities of sharing JESUS with so many people! It makes me glad to have answered GODs call to GO WHERE HE WOULD SHOW US.....if you'd like to give to this camp center, please go to www.globaloutreach.org or you can send a check to Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 tupelo MS 38802 made out to Global Outreach for Franklin Turner. Thank you for giving and for praying for us as we continue to tell others of the LOVE OF JESUS!

Been farmin' long?

This week was agriculture week. This picture of the oxen is on our way to church! They were all lined up along the side getting ready to file down the road!

These pictures are of my fashion, hehe! We celebrated ag day with the local senior citizens group in the community the camp center is in! It was a wonderful activity. One of my favorite things about the day was that the people were all asked to bring vegetables or fruits as an offering and then these were either used in a great soup they made called "Olla de Carne" vegetable stew, to eat together and the rest that were left over were sold and the profit went to the seniors group! It was a great time of sharing they even told some old tales from the olden days, the seniors laughed and laughed, laughter is good medicine! Smile, JESUS loves you! Thank yo for giving in order for us to carry out the call GOD put on our lives to serve HIM in a country where he would show us! GOD has spoken to us about building a camp and training center to minister to he needs of the costa rican church and individuals needing a touch from the MASTER-JESUS CHRIST! If you haven't given and would like to you can give on line at www.globaloutreach.org or you can send your check to Gloal Outreach P.O. Worship the LORD!

Mary and the music group from here at church had an all praise evening, each of them taking turns reading scripture and singing a new song to glorify our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST! We are glad to be a part of such a wonderful church that loves the LORD JESUS and also glad that our children can worship GOD no matter what language, with others who love the LORD!

Today...

This is the day which the LORD has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!
We have had abusy week! We have planted some new trees and roses! and of course other things, among which is grass! We had a friend who came out to visit us and he said well, you want it to look like a golf course! YES! thats the best way to describe it, we want the camp center to be inviting, green with lots of flowers, places for people to pray, to seek the FACE OF GOD.
James and Mary have cmpleted another week in school pleae pray for them they will be starting tests this week LORD willing. We were able to help a group of student Doctors who visited here at our church with translation this week. PRAY that we would use every opportunity to speak JESUS to each person GOD puts in our path, it is by no mistake that we meet each one even if for just a few mintues! Let's make the most of our time! Thank you for giving to this mission, visit our home page at wwww.globaloutreach.org to give a donation!

tiny visitor!

OK we had our smallest visitor to the camp center to date! Koa came to visit us at Camp Taller del Maestro! He had his mom with him and 2 friends. His moms van broke down in Puriscal which is about 20 minutes from the camp center. Through the grace of GOD we were able to help Koa and his mom, they spent the night, we got her van fixed and they were off back to their mission with YWAM in Jaco at 2 pm yesterday! What a blessing to be a blessing to others!

If you'd like to give to help out at the camp center you can give on line at wwww.globaloutreach.org or you can send a check to Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 Tupelo MS 38802, made out to Franklin and Evelyn Turner! Thank you for giving and for praying for us, so that eve the little ones like Koa can come hear about the love JESUS has for each of us!!

Thank you!

Want to thank those of you who have given towards this project! The kitchen is looking more and more like a kitchen now! We are halfway finished with the roof, we are proud of the progress it has been slow but GOD has provided, even providing help to work on it! Our pastor Olger brought a young man with him and volunteered one day and Miguel has been there with us helping. Thank you for giving in order for us to work and live here in Costa Rica! We see the hand of GOD in our lives and know you have prayed and given to make this possible, a camp and training center to minister to the very heart and souls of the people of Costa Rica and people from around the world! Thank you!
If you'd like to make a donation towards the working of this camp center you can give at www.globaloutreach.org or you can send a check directly to Global Outreach P.O. Box 1 Tupelo, MS 38802 made out to Global Outreach for Franklin & Evelyn Turner.
GOD bless you this new week!
