Happy birthday Mom!

Mary along with her youth group and friends and our family from the church celebrated my birthday tonight!
Thank you Mary!

I praise the Lord for another year of life, and another year to celebrate
eternal life in JESUS CHRIST! Thank you to each of you for praying for us and giving to make this mission possible, TALLER DEL MAESTRO GLOBAL OUTREACH ministering to families preaching GODS Word and teaching them the basic principles of a purpose driven life in JESUS, our only real purpose in life!

Where does your bridge take you?

This is a picture Mary took on our way home from San Jose.
I was looking back through our pictures, there are 100s!
I was impressed by how she took this picture, a bridge,
a simple bridge, there are many, but this one, without beginning or end, is kind of like GOD!
HE is always forever there, no beginning or end!
PRAISE HIM!
I am glad to serve such a great GOD! Our leader JESUS CHRIST has gone before us
and shown us the way, and by obedience to GOD in JESUS we also will live forever!
So stepout in faith and walk across that bridge in your life that is connecting you to JESUS,
HE will be there with you each step of the way and you wil not fall or stumble,
HIS LOVE NEVER FAILS! Trust JESUS!

Happy Fathers day all dads at Arbol de Vida Church!

Mary and group of youth friends sang Mighty men of Valor, in spanish of course!
She and her friends ate lunch at our house after morning church service then decorated for the mens Fathers day Party!

Pastor Olger was all smiles the deacons of the church gave him a gift, and many of the community whom we normally don't see at church were there so he was able to share JESUS with them! Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow!

JESUS Team!

I will praise my JESUS!

Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them!
This little baby came to our eye clinic one day and as we were signing people in she was lifting her hands in praise to GOD! They had asked for music, to put in the background as people came through the clinic.
When this little one heard the praise music she lifted her hands to praise JESUS!
The rest of us got in on the action, Guiselle our pastors wife is also clapping and singing and
praising GOD following the example of this little girl, a little child shall lead them!
Next time you see the children file into Sunday School or into the church service make sure they know that JESUS is real and HE recieves the praises from their lips and hands and feet as they serve HIM! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!

Let me see......

Dora is one of the many the team was able to minster to while they were here.
She has a very serious problem in her eyes, but we believe that just as JESUS spit on the ground, made a little mud and helped the blind man see for the very first time in his life, GOD can work a miracle in her life!
Dora is a very sweet gentle spirit and was there to help sign people in as we set up eye clinic on Thursday, although she could hardly see! Her spiritual eyes are wide open, you see Dora has JESUS in her heart and so HE is her eyes when she needs to see clearly!
Thank you JESUS for your love for us, dying on the cross for our sins, raised to life on the 3rd day, now sitting at the right hand of GOD advocating for Dora and all of us who believe in JESUS by faith!

Glasses anyone?

Isaac was able to help translate Spanish to English for our optometry team this week.
We have a team of 16 doctors and students from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry with us for one week! They are part of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists at the University. We are thankful they chose to come to Costa Rica to serve alongside us at the
Taller del Maestro Global Outreach!
Many people have recieved glasses who would otherwise not have been able to afford them thanks Audrey Richards and all your team for your gift of help for vision for Costa Rica!
JESUS still heals if we have faith in HIM and we know HE will use your hands to minister to those in need!

Then JESUS said to him,"recieve your sight; your faith has made you well!" Luke18:42

James in Sunday School we are thankful for our Sunday School teachers. We have been working in our Sunday School now for a year and a half, and we have seen growth both spiritually in our teachers, and in numbers in our children attending Sunday School. Praise GOD for this opportunity to teach children the Bible!

Cows???

For those of you who have been here this is an every day event here at the church the
cows walking by! GOD is so wonderful! We take these little things for granted so many times
and seems like something so regular that we over look the blessing in enjoying
every aspect of GODS beautiful creation!
Praise the LORD for your pet HE created it and GOD knew we would need these
wonderful creatures to help us remember how wonderful HE is!
Look to JESUS for your strength and remember no-one can fill that hole in your life it is

JESUS sized!
JESUS thank you for being my Saviour and LORD and thank you for all of
your wonderful creation, you were creating with me in mind!

Dentist Rachel

The new dentist office in Tabarcia Costa Rica! It is right across from Marys high school!

They are attending their first patient today! Praise the LORD!
Now for those of you who have been with us for a whle praying for us and giving this is the chair we sent on our container a year ago. This equipment was donated by Dr Bradley Stearsman who is in practice in Owensboro,Ky. Thank you Dr Stearsman and to each one of you for praying for this container and our things to make it safely, and now we are seeing the use of the dental equipment we are praising GOD and know without you it would not have been possible!

Youth Evangelism

Our youth group from here at Arbol de Vida church went out to speak JESUS in a community San Pablo, about 30 minutes from Tabarcia. Our youth leader is from there and has been wanting to go into his community and tell them the good news of eternal LIFE in JESUS!
We also shared with them about the optomitry team that is coming in one week and we will set up clinic in this little communty at their school PRAY for this outreach that GOD will recieve the glory and many will come to know JESUS as their personal SAVIOUR!
