Samantha and Franklin worked hard to get Jons floor leveled out!

This is a group from YWAM San Jose who came out to work at Jons. This group is building 3 houses for needy people in the area! We are thankful for them and for the opportunity to work alongside people who love JESUS! We are also thankful for the help on Jons house. Jon works for us 5 days a week to help keep the bush cut down. He helps his mom and dad out so we are thankful to be able to give him some work! We're lil angels!

Audrey and her group camped one night in a cabin close to the coast. Here they are showing us what angel they were!
They were troopers and we sure enjoyed their visit with us!

What a blessing to have this group of students and Doctors with us, Candice signed her name for one of the first times as Dr Candice here in Costa Rica! Thak you guys for coming a dn giving glasses so the people of Costa Rica can see to read their bible!

Ok Mat tht is not how you wear the BIO! Mat and Amber are students at the university of Alabama, studying optometry, praise the LORD for each of you may GOD give you strength as you do well in your studies for GODS glory in JESUS CHRIST!

Surprise!

One week ago about this time we had surprise of our lives! Franklin and I were at the camp center Mary and james had both spent the night at a friends house. We were having a cup of coffee whent he phone rings and a man speaks to me in spanish and says, I have someone here who wants to talk with you.
He put Audrey Richards on the phone from the airport here in Costa Rica!
Now we were expecting Audrey and her team of optometrists but not till today; one week later! We had misunderstood the dates!
So Franklin and I quickly scrambled into vehicles and made a fast trip to the airport to pick them up!

Sharonda was one of the students on the team the kids loved her and she of course catered to them!

Jamie is one of the doctors who was on the team, she helped the students as they saw the people and served in the Name of JESUS!

This little boy blessed our hearts! He played in the floor with little wood blocks they had cut off a door at the church we were serving at! He was very patient as he waited for his mom to finish her eye exam! We saw nearly 500 in 5 days of clinics, GOD is so good!

Praise the LORD!

We had some wonderful helpers yesterday! There were 7 men and a cook who helped out yesterday! Whata blessing! Our pastor Olger his wife Guiselle and some others came to help along with Bolivar, Jon and Miguel. Franklin is proud of his kitchen floor, it was a lot of hard work but it worth every back pain, well you can ask him!

 

 

 

Even Jame got in on the action! He helped witht he last few loads, he got home from school as they were finishing up! I went to pick him up from school and get 4 more sacks of cement, and when we got back they were waiting on the cement to finish out the kitchen floor, thank you to those of you who gave to this project! many blessings in JESUS Name!
