Lives forever changed by JESUS CHRIST OF Nazereth!

I blogged about Nago and Rebeca getting baptized. This was such a special moment for us as a family and for the whole congregation!
We met Nago and Rebeca 4 years ago and felt a special bond with them from the start. They farm a 1/4 acre lot they have together with Nagos brothers. They have 2 children Marco who is 19 and Maria who is 11. They were catholic and here in Central America this is serius to the point they tell you I am not a christian I am catholic.
So we were looking for a house 4 years ago and Nago told Franklin about this one his sister had for rent.
We went to lok at it and liked it and the price was in our range, LOW! So we moved in with Nago and Rebecas help. We continued our friendship and soon started a cell group at our house inviting the neighbors and friends to study the bible with us. Nago came every time Franklin gave him a large print bible he still carries to this day! We held this bible study a little over a year every Friday night. It was a wonderful time of spiritual growth for us and for Nago and Rebeca.
Well we moved away from that house to the church and for a while we hardly saw them anymore!
About a year ago Nago came to the church one Sat and talked to Frankln a long time and sadi this was going to be his church. Franklin prayed with Nago then and Nago recieved JESUS in his heart! So from that time on Rebeca came real regular to services but Nago came very little. About 6 months ago Rebeca was invited to a weekend retreat. This was a life changing experience for Rebeca and she started to understand GODS will in her life! She told our pastor she wanted to make Arbol de Vida he church and she wanted to be sumitted to his direction in her spiritual life! WOW! GOD is so good!
She waited for about a month and told Pastor she wanted to be baptized. We were holding a baptizm class at the time and invited her to come. It scared her a lot and she didn't come. This is a huge commintment, as it could mean she would never be able to be close with her dad and mom again, as they may chose to ex communicate her for her choice to follow JESUS!
Well a few weeks went by and she still told Olger our pastor she wanted to be baptized. So they set a date. GOD has given our pastor a lot of wisdom in this! He knew she would have to have a date to work towards.
So the date was set for Sunday May 17. 1 day before the baptizm Rebeca was still battling with her fears. This is just GOD! Nago comes to her and says jokingly, but in all seriousness, I guess I will get batized too! WOW!
So Sunday morning they came and talked to our pastor and he baptized both of them after being sure they knew JESUS as their Savior and wanted to live for HIM!
Now that is GOD opening hearts, we just never know when GOD will call us to speak JESUS into someones life, you tell them about your faith tell them JESUS died for their sins, GOD is there and HE is the heart changer, He just allows us to be HIS voice!

JESUS BLESS YOU!
