Mission trip!

I have written some about Isaac, many of you know him personally! He is a young man who grew up here in Tabarcia, where our church is located. Isaac feels a call to India, to work as a missionary, plans to get married to Heidi in December, then together they plan to travel to India in the near future to minister the Gospel message there.

Well, he came for a visit last weekend to present to the church what he is doing in Jaco beach working with orphans and homeless people. So we were on our way home when he was walking to catch the bus at about 2 in the afternoon. We took him to the bus stop and on the way there Franklin mentioned that we had in our heart to take a group from our church to help out at YWAM, youth with a mission, where Isaac is based.
So as we talked in about 10 minutes it took for us to take Isaac to the bus stop, the wheels started turning and we quickly put together a group of 10 people and off we go to YWAM the next day!
What a day! Isaac and some of the men poured concrete but most of the group we took helped out cleaning up around the place. It was a blessing to see our people involved hands on in mission work!
