Good help!

Our pastor Olger Mora has been a huge help on building this camp center! We are thankful for great leaders who lead by example, Olger has shown his love for GOD in how he ministers. He has been a wonderful arm of help here with all types of work we have done, in the beginning we had to chop with machete to get into this property, then in construction long hours in the hot sun laying block finishing walls and roof. Now pouring concrete, not only has he come to help he has been telling those at our church to take action and help also and he brings someone with him to help and brings material to work with! What a call! GOD is good thank you for praying for us and giivng to make this mission possible, thank you also to those who have come we look forward to what great things GOD will do here! Amen!

Visitors!

We enjoy all visitors here to the camp center! These cows have visited a lot recently and we enjoy seeing them chew around on green mangos and a few blades of grass they find! There was a stand off yesterday, our dog Cookie was out of her pen and the cows came by for their visit. There is a beautiful baby calf who comes along, and she stood looking at Cookie, probably trying to firgure out what tha funny looking calf was up to! She would take a step towards Cookie and the dog would jump back several feet! Finally she got tired of the game and ran to where her momma was nearby, and of course as soon as she started to run Cookie got in on the chase! We put Cookie up in her pen we don't want baby calf hurt, just in case the owner ever comes back to claim these cows! We dream of having cows of our own, that is one of our next projects in a long line of things to do, build a corral and fence to hold a few cows and maybe even a horse!
We had a little shower of rain this afternoon first in about 2 months well reacieved, even the birds sang a little louder!

Danger!!!!

 

YES, this is our hill! This weekend a bike ride went through here and they had put up signs along the way so the bikers wouldn't get lost, this one is on the crest of the hill as you can see, it looks like it drops off to nothing! Guess they had a scary ride! They actually ride down this hill, in the car with good brakes is alright with me that is all the scary I need! This hill is kinda like life, sometimes when we a sign that reads danger maybe we should evaulate where we are going, is the danger worth it, is this really the road I wanna trvel on or should I let go and let JESUS take me where HE will keep me safe! Thank you for praying for us! Thank you for giving! Thank you for coming to visit! watch for the danger signs and take action! PRAY!

Flooring?

 

For those of you who have been here remember this building well! This is where teams stay and has up to now been full of STUFF storage, team housing, where we lived for 2 years, and much more! NOW this is the new conference center! It will still serve as team housing, until we can get team dorms built, then the rooms will be used for training rooms and for teaching GODS WORD! AMEN! GOD is good all the time. We have started redoing the floor, we had poured part of the floor and it cracked badly, so we cut it took it up and now poured a thicker layer and with wire in it, hoping this will hold better!
We have enough gravel out front of the building as you can see, and still need to purchase a load of sand and about 100 bags of cement, to finish this job! The neighbors who helped today were glad for a day of work, in this area it is hard to find work, it is a blessing to be able to give them a job, knowing that it helps their families to live! PRAISE THE LORD!

Thank you so much for being a part of this ministry by praying for us and supporting what we are doing! Working, building a camp center where GODS children will come to be filled up with GODS WORD to overflowing, and go out to give GODS WORD to their fellow brothers and sisters! Knowing that in the name of JESUS there is salvation for everyone who recieves JESUS in their heart! Amen!

Blessings in our life

 

This picture was taken a year ago this weekend! Ms Nancy was living here with us at the camp and this team was here with us from Missouri! How fast things can change in one year! WOW!
GOD called ms Nancy home to HEaven Thanksgiving 2010 and she has been greatly missed here! Thank you to each of you who have given to make this mission possible! GOD is at work in Costa Rica!
We have visitors with us right now Charlie and Darlene Ballard from MO. They will be here till Wed next week, they have helped out for one month!
The big building is completely empty those of you who have been here will know what I'm talking about! WHEW!
Franklin and Jon have worked hard this past week getting it all cleaned out. Yesterday franklin leveled the dirt in it, and it is ready to pour concrete to the front door! WOW! GOD is good! We had 2 loads of rock deleivered and one load of sand. The truck driver was a little worried about that hill but he made it down just fine and back out no problem!
Our 15 passenger van that was donated last year will be shipped here to Costa Rica in 2 weeks LORD willing. We are still taking up funds to import it, will cost aroun $6000 to import if you'd like to make a donation towards that we appreciate it! We have already recieved some donations towards it but not all of it is there yet!

GOD at work!

 

 

This was our latest baptism at our church what a wonderful service! GOD is soo good! And this past Sunday these new believers were able to take their first LORDS supper, what a celebration it will be when we all get to HEAVEN and celebrate that great supper with JESUS! Haleluyah!

 

Charles and Darlene Ballard were able to be a part of the baptism event, and enjoy praising GOD with others who don't even speak their langage, but GOD is the GOD of all languages! Amen! they are here with us for 4 weeks helping out with work around the camp center and some yummy cooking!
