Marys prom Banquet

This wek was Marys banquet in honor of their graduation! Franklin walked in with Mary then they had a daddy daughter dance! It was a beautiful ceremony and wonderful meal! we are very proud of Marys accomplishments, she passed her tests with good grades! Praise the LORD!
 

Mary and her best friends! They have been friends since 8th grade and enjoyed the celebration together and took lots of fun pictures together! Thank you LORD for friends!

Friends forever!

Our pastor Olger and Franklin working together at Abigails! What a blessing it has been to know the people of Costa Rica, and especially our pastor and his wife people dedicated to JESUS CHRIST, not wavering in the hard times but always believing the best is yet to come!

Hunt and Jarod along with Mary were enjoying a coke and a good laugh! They enjoyed workng together and getting to share their talents!

Thank you to the ladies at Morning View and others who helped make these cute dolls for the children here in Costa Rica! What a blessing these little ones recieved something handmade with love from so far away!

We had a fun week with Morning View Baptist church! What a blessing to have these saints with us and bless others as we work in missions!

Ms Ethel went to see their new abode, she was amazed at the differene a little concrete and wall board can make! Thank you for giving to the LORD!

Below you can see what a difference a little seat covering can make! These couches remind me of our lives before and after CHRIST! We are old ready for someone to strike a match and burn forever, but whe we accept JESUS in our hearts all things are made new! We even look differently! PRAISE THE LORD! Thank you for your prayers for us as we minster here in Costa Rica in the Name of JESUS!

Abigails fun week!

Although I haven't been able to post many pictures of the name of the story for this week a friend of ours and wonderful person, Abigail, she and her children have left a mark on our hearts forever! The team from Morning View Baptist church Manatachi, MS were here 6 days with us and they were able to in 6 days renovate Abigail's house, and even stocked her house with some of the things she needs just to live, like dishes, towels, and a cook stove! What a blessing! She came to spend Thanksgiving here with us at the camp along with her children and her mom, it was a grand day for all of us as we shared, ate and prayed together! GOD is so good! Thank you to each of you who have given to make it possible for us to minister here in Costa Rica!

Day one of a wonderful week!

They cleaned out the house and gutted it in order to be able to work pouring the floor then they plan to put up partition walls and make rooms!

We enjoyed a wonderful time of worship and praise to our LORD JESUS with our church this morning!

Mission work!

Good evening! This is whats been happening this week! We are setting posts for the shop! Miguel and Bitinia came over to help this week! He helped Franklin dig holes and set pots and she helped clean the conference building and get ready for team! They started praying for us 8 years ago when we met, were along as prayer warriors as we made the purchse of the camp property, and now come volunteer to help out! They are retired and love missions! Praise the LORD! James got in on the action between classes of homeschool! He is ding great and stays busy! lately he is forming bows and arrows, lots of bush to cut up and shape into fun things!

Mary helped out Karla our neighbor with her homework gettig ready for the last tests of the year! Mary is very talented and has been a huge help around here since she is out of school! She graduated from high school now and will be going to the states to study LORD willing next year! Thank you for your prayers for our family as we minister in the Name of JESUS!

Franklin cleans house!

OK, so my friend Bopey has always told me she doesn't want a house she can't hose down now and then. Well I guess Franklin takes after Bopey, he took the power washer to our home a few days ago! It feels a lot cleaner and he didn't go crazy he was very careful not to get stuff wet! Our home only has screens on the windows so Franklin washed them, they get really dusty! And the porch floor needed a good cleaning too!


Thank you for giving to make it possible to live and work in Costa Rica in the NAME OF JESUS! We can do lots of "good things" but without the WORD of GOD and the LOVE of JESUS it is empty! Thank you for praying for us, with the support of your prayers we are safe and each day we are able to give more of ourselves to each person GOD gives us to minister to each one individually!

Our church

we love our brothers and sisters here in Costa Rica and enjoy worshipping our LORD JESUS alongside them! We had a group visiting with us this weekend so it was a celebration! They brought dancers with them so they involved the group of youth from our church and all danced and worshipped together what a blessing! We know soon we will all be together forever in HEAVEN to worship our LORD!

Thankful...

Have you heard this line, I am thankful... then people say what they are thankful for. Who should we thank? Our parents for raising us right. Our brothers and sisters for looking out for us. Our pastor for helping out. Our children for obeying in the little things.
More than any of these is our thankful hearts to JESUS CHRIST.
Stop and think about what the name of JESUS means to you?
I am thankful to JESUS because HE saved me out if a mess I was in, living a life with no direction, in trouble and headed to an eternity in hell. Yes before I gave my life to JESUS or should I say HE came to my rescue I was headed straight for hell. Without JESUS blood to wash away my guilty stains from off my pitiful life, I would have no hope. Now my hope is secure int hat JESUS loves me, HE gave HIS life on the cross for my sins. He washed my sins away! I cannot earn my salvation, but JESUS feely gave me eternal life, love everlasting! Thankful for JESUS today!
When someone says they are thankful and ask you what you ar thankful for it opens the door for you to say, first of all I am thankful for JESUS!
